Goals for the Future
As Rays & Riches grows, I am committed to expanding our impact in a way that aligns with our core values of sustainability and social responsibility.
One of my long-term goals is to keep production local and ethical. Instead of outsourcing or relying on mass production, I plan to train and employ local, marginalized women, facing barriers to employment.
My aim is to offer both a creative, rewarding experience and fair compensation for their work, ensuring they have access to meaningful, well-paid opportunities.
I believe the process of making jewelry is not only about craftsmanship but also about creativity and self-expression.
Being able to create something that others will appreciate is deeply rewarding, and I want to offer this experience in a way that provides both personal fulfillment and financial stability.
Certification Goals
While Rays & Riches is already built on principles of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility, I recognize the value of formal certifications like B Corp.
These certifications offer customers the confidence that our practices align with the highest standards of environmental and social impact.
At this time, as a self-funded micro business, I do not yet have the resources to pursue certification.
However, as the brand grows, obtaining certifications like B Corp will be a key goal. I understand the importance of this step and am committed to achieving it in the future when the business can support the certification process.
